Recently we purchased and installed two Cranesmart LMI systems and I wanted to comment on how well the install of these components went from the sale of the products to calibrating the systems after completing the installation. Working with the technicians in the service department was very helpful and they were able to answer any questions that I had about the systems. The Cranesmart LMI systems have proven to be a very reliable and user friendly system for our equipment needs.

We’ve put many hours on the new LMI4 user interface since the install and are loving it. The new touch screen monitor is easier to see in any lighting conditions. The new monitor is also very user friendly and easy to navigate and was very easy to learn. It’s quick to make changes to load chart set up such as POL, and very quick to switch between winches. I also really like seeing all the current crane parameters on one screen instead of having to switch between screens for boom length. After having the new panel I don’t think I could ever go back to the old one, it’s absolutely wonderful to run the crane with it installed. The service and help that Colin has provided with the install has also been wonderful and he’s always been quick to answer any questions I’ve had over the phone and is very knowledgeable about the system. I would recommend the new Cranesmart system to anyone and if you ever have the need to demonstrate the system already installed on a crane I would be happy to help with that.

Many companies automatically assume that failures are caused by the end user and don’t give merit to their version of the issue. This has never been the feeling that I get when talking with the Cranesmart Customer Service Department. Each time we return a faulty sensor we are given the truthful result of the failure diagnosis and credited when it is warranted. In this day and age, it is extremely rare to find a company that stands behind their products and almost unheard of that one actively looks into customer concerns and comes back with solutions. We decided to purchase Cranesmart products when we were looking at adding LMI systems to our cranes solely based on the high praise of your customer service from another company. I have never felt that our concerns were met with a deaf ear and have even been called back by one of your service technician’s months later to make sure everything is working properly after a replacement A2B switch was required due to damage.

We think the new LMI4 display panel from Cranesmart is a big improvement. Having all of the transducer information available on one screen is very user-friendly. Still a good, simple, durable system to install on any crane with the longevity in a system that is unmatched across the industry.

We have been dealing with Cranesmart since 2003 and have purchased well over 50 systems. We have been completely satisfied with the Cranesmart team; there sales and service is beyond reproach and ease of installation and the troubleshooting of the units is both simple and easy, the way we like it!
